How to grow long healthy hair and maintain it!

While my long blonde thick hair is a defining feature of mine, I haven't always followed these rules I am about to share with you. (All of which were life-changing for me). Are you struggling with growing long healthy hair and maintaining it? Well, you're in the right place as I have a few tips to help you achieve the long luscious hair you have always dreamed of.

Tips on how to grow long healthy hair and maintain it!

1. Don't overwash your hair!

I always recommend trying to go as long as possible before washing your hair. For me, I work out 5 days a week so I try and only wash my hair once a week. If this is a challenge for you try dry shampoo and conditioner. I have found this one doesn't make my hair feel gross after using.

Also, while you are washing your hair try adding conditioner to your ends BEFORE you add shampoo to your scalp. Once you rinse add in a little more conditioner and work the product from your ends to your scalp. This will help with keeping your ends hydrated while not overwhelming your scalp with the product.

2. Opt For No Heat!

I have a few tutorials for this but if you're looking for a quick and easy no-heat hairstyle, the robe curls are one of my favorite hairstyles. It's super simple and easy to achieve.

3. Invest in a silk pillow

If you do not already own a silk pillow I HIGHLY suggest investing in one. I love this one from Amazon. Sleeping on a silk pillow not only has changed the game in terms of quality of sleep, but it also is great for your skin and hair too!

4. Skip the hair ties

I have seen a huge improvement in my hair since I have started using claw clips instead of opting for hair ties.
